If you believe the industry hype, river cruising is riding the rocket of small ship and adventure products in a rapidly growing cruise market. I tend to agree. Currently under construction, the Scenic Pearl will join sister ships the Scenic Emerald, Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire in spring 2011. I have seen a cruise advertised by USA River Cruises, on the Cumberland River, between St Louis-Nashville or Cincinnati-Nashville.
